Description of Issue:

The headliner on my 458 was sagging before I bought it. This is very common on Ferraris that are located in hotter and humid climates. My car has been in Texas it's entire life.

The cause of the sagging headliner - which will eventually fall down completely - is due to the foam insulation degrading. As the foam degrades, it separates and then the weight of the headliner will simply shear the foam in half.

Resolution if Known:

I hired a professional interior guy, Jay from Just Like New Interior (https://www.facebook.com/justlikenewinterior) to fix the headliner. First he removed the old headliner and removed any foam insulation or glue still attached. He also did the same to the interior sheet in the car. Then he cut new foam to size, and glued it to the headliner. Finally he re-glued the headliner into place back in the car. He handled removing the trim pieces and reinstallation of them as well. The entire process took him about an hour.
