Oil Change

My 3rd time changing the oil in the F430 – I finally have gotten to where I do not spill oil everywhere, but I had some other problems.

My 2nd time changing the oil in the F430 – the oil change was mostly uneventful with only some minor spilling.  I also changed the transmission fluid.

My first time changing the oil and it was a small disaster.  Oil spilled everywhere.  The rear drain plug is VERY LARGE so when you remove it, the oil comes out with a lot of force.  The lesson here is you need a deep oil catch pan so the oil won’t splash everywhere.
